Junior Open Days
A relaxed and welcoming introduction to the game.
Our Junior Open Days run throughout the year, giving young golfers the chance to experience the game in a fun and friendly environment, with no membership and no long-term commitment required.
These events are ideal for families who want their child to try golf before committing to regular sessions, coaching, or the Junior League. Juniors can explore the bays, enjoy a mix of TrackMan games, and take part in everything from colourful putting challenges to long-drive fun, all at their own pace.
Each Open Day is designed to feel relaxed, enjoyable, and easy to access, with guidance on hand to help young players settle in and families understand the different junior opportunities available at Barony Golf Lab.

Junior League
A fun and structured pathway into golf.
The Barony Junior League is designed to give young golfers a structured and enjoyable way to progress in the game. Running in seasonal blocks, it combines fun TrackMan challenges with skill development, weekly scoring, and a friendly competitive spirit.
Our main Junior League takes place during the summer holidays, giving juniors the chance to play, learn, and stay active while school is off. Each week, young golfers take on a new course, challenge, or skills test, with progress tracked on the leaderboard throughout the league.
The league finishes with a Finals Day where every junior is recognised not only for performance, but also for effort, improvement, and sportsmanship.
To create more opportunities through the year, shorter Junior League editions are also planned during the Christmas and Easter holidays, offering the same welcoming structure in a shorter format.
The aim is simple - to help young golfers build confidence, enjoy the game, and feel part of something meaningful within the local golfing community.
Junior Sessions

Our Junior Sessions provide a welcoming environment where young players can learn the game at their own pace. Using TrackMan’s world-class technology, juniors can enjoy fun games, guided practice, and skill-based challenges that help build coordination, technique, and confidence.
These sessions are ideal for beginners taking their first swings, juniors wanting to stay active through the winter months, or young golfers looking to sharpen their skills in a safe, modern indoor setting.

Junior competitions at Barony Golf Lab are designed to be fun, confidence-building, and memorable. They give young golfers the chance to experience the excitement of playing for something in a welcoming and supportive environment.
From Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin to short-course challenges and fun TrackMan games, our junior competitions are built to be inclusive and enjoyable for all levels. Prizes, certificates, and seasonal events help keep juniors motivated and proud of their progress.
Whether it is a child’s first competition or one of many, every junior should feel welcome, encouraged, and part of the experience.
Age Groups & Development Pathway
The right level of support for every age and stage.
To help each young golfer receive the right balance of support, enjoyment, and challenge, our junior offering is divided into three simple tiers.
Tier 1 — Young Starters (Ages 6–9)
Fun, games-based learning with a focus on enjoyment, coordination, and early confidence.
Tier 2 — Developing Golfers (Ages 10–15)
More structured challenges, early technique development, and friendly competition.
Tier 3 — Young Players (Ages 15–16)
A dedicated category with its own competitions and formats, separate from the younger tiers. Focus on course play, scoring formats, skill refinement, and preparing for club‑level golf.
Each tier is designed to reflect the pace, ability, and confidence of the juniors within it, helping every player enjoy the game while continuing to develop.

ShuffleGolf
