Barony Golf Lab Begins - Keys Collected
There are moments in life that feel bigger than the day itself, and collecting the keys to Barony Golf Lab was one of them. After months of planning, designing, refining and imagining what this place could become, we finally stepped inside the building that will soon be East Ayrshire’s new home for indoor golf.
Walking through the doors for the first time as owners wasn’t just exciting - it was grounding. This is where the bays will sit. This is where the Trackman iO systems will live. This is where people will practice, compete, learn, and enjoy the game all year round. Seeing the empty space and knowing what it’s about to become was a moment we’ll never forget.
Now the real work begins!
Over the next few weeks, the space will transform from a blank canvas into a modern, welcoming, three‑bay indoor golf facility. Walls will go up, flooring will go down, electrics will be fitted, and the TrackMan systems will be installed and calibrated. Every detail matters, and we’re taking the time to get it right.
This isn’t just about building a business - it’s about building something for the community. A place where golfers can practice through the winter, juniors can learn the game in a safe environment, friends can compete, and families can enjoy something different together. A place that feels local, friendly, and genuinely part of Ayrshire.
We’ll be sharing updates as the build progresses — from the first bay going in, to the Trackman screens lighting up, to the moment the doors open for the very first time. It’s going to be an exciting journey, and we’re looking forward to bringing everyone along with us.
For now, the keys are in our hands, the work has started, and Barony Golf Lab is officially underway.
